I was going to add: On the fish finder. Visit the float tubing board. There are lots of ways to mount your transducer on a pontoon. I have mine mounted on a strap that I slide over the pontoon. I just loosen the strap and pull the transducer to the side if I am coming into shore. Going out I just center the transducer on to the bottom of the pontoon and tighten the strap. I used that method so that it would fit both my pontoon and my float tube.
I really like FlyGoddesses new mount though. I think she will be posting more about it next week. Hers uses a strap with a piece of pvc on the side. The transducer is on the end of the pvc piece. That way she can just rotate the pvc pipe down into the water once she gets out, and swing it up as she comes in. She also put her display mount onto it using a ram mount on a cutting board.
But lots of ways to do it. Visit the Float tube forum. There are a ton of different ideas for pimping your ride!
