Welcome Jellyworm, there are lots of posters here with tons of good info, and to answer your question about night fishing at Mead, Yes, lots of night fishing going on especially this time of year, too damn hot in the daylight hours, although I've had some good bites in the heat of the day as well. make sure you post your trips, as everyone likes to see what's happening on the lake.
