If you want to catch SMB, then the big J is doing just dandy right now. I have hit it three times in the last 10 days and each day has been a solid B+. All along the shoreline to the left of the boat ramp at Hailstone is good water. There is plenty of submerged sage there as well, so you may find perchlets hanging around also. (or not -- I know jack squat about perch) One day the only thing working was white grubs, curly tails, and white jerk baits, the next day the only thing working was a Maniac Cut'r Bug in Changeable Craw, and the next day it was GULP Minnows on a drop shot. Just be prepared to try a few different colors and presentations, but once you figure that out, it's steady all day. I was in a Pontoon boat two of the days, and in a boat the other. 99% of the fish were caught within 30 feet of shore, so you can easily get them just walking the shore line imo.
