As of this last weekend the walleye were on a pretty heavy insect bite. We were the ones that won the tourny and it was definatly a spinner bite. Get out over the mud flats around 10-20ft and thats where a majority of the fish were. We caught well over 150 walleye the two days of the tourny but the average size was only 12-14". All we ran was Kokanee Creek Tackle's western walleye series spinners. The hot colors were green/chartruce and brass/black. The bugs they were eating were green in color. Our biggest two fish were 3.54 and 3.40, the rest were 14-20". The fish were short biting so pinching the crawler off behind the second hook was getting more fish. I think I seen you out there, I was in a red and white procraft. Well, off to wyoming in the morning for another tourny, I hope this helps with the catching a little.....[fishin]
