Braved the herd of tourney fisherman yesterday and launched early at Greys(5:30 am). Pitched Shadraps to the shore and picked up some wallies and bass. Slow trolled plugs and caught more wallies, perch , trout and a whopper crappie.
Not a bad day but not great either, biggest fish only about 18". Bound to pick up soon. Talked to a lot of tourney guys and they all said the same thing-small fish. Biggest of day for Saturday was just over 3lbs.
