I don't believe anyone is trying to "rain on his parade". I also agree it is a lovely fish and cool pictures. What a great time with the family, fishing, being in the outdoors, etc.
To me, it is about credibility. If it was truely C&R and "[#ff0000]It was a in a C&R net that whole time in the water[/#ff0000], it was out for the pictures and that was it", then why is he standing on land? Why is there grass stuck to the fish? Why is the skin, especially the tail fin, dried out?
I personally think it's an awesome catch, great pictures, and a nice story. It just isn't credible and his pictures don't match his story. That's all I'm saying.
