I don't think you can blame the liberals or Democrats for this one.
Pin the blame on Idaho Power where it belongs. They just don't want the public near their facilities. I'm sure they would have just put a gate in the road that goes behind the generator house and close the park below the dam entirely if they hadn't spent so much money on camping improvements a few years back.
This BS cost me my favorite nighttime winter perch and trout spot, and it won't make us one whit safer. I used to fish the eddy to the side of the generator house every time I went there. Now I don't even bother stopping at the dam. What a waste for nothing.
