Braided Line Fraying

I can't say for sure but it could be because you are using braided line on a spinning reel, most people but not all, use bait casters for braided line. I'm thinking the line is rubbing on the bigger eyelets causing it to fray. There was another member asking this question recently, I'll see if I can find it and give you a link to that thread.
