The allen compass is the best small stream rod I have ever owned. I bought the 4 wt and I love it. It will cast dries perfectly as well as a weighted nymph rig. And the folks at allen run a great outfit. Great folks. And you can get it for $100! http://www.allenflyfishing.com/compass-rod-series/
