Why do you fish alone?
#22
I'm not going to lie -- I fish alone because I'm a selfish. I do like to meet up with people on occasion (fished with TubeDude, FlyGoddess, Old Troller, TDT's), but we always meet up, say hello, and then get to fishing. They do their thing, I do mine, and we're all happy. I suppose if I had a boat it would be a different story, but I'm usually in a pontoon boat or on a river. I hate having two people on a river, unless I'm there to watch/learn (which I love to do, by the way), because I don't want to share with someone else. Shoot me, I am what I am. At this point in my life, fishing is an escape from stress, and with a house full of girls who don't want to do anything unless it's PINK, I need to find a body of water at least once a week in order to stay sane.

I love and admire those folks who want to go with other people -- Gods know that I've been the lucky recipient of their generosity more times than I can remember. I wish I had the patience for friends/family, but I just don't. Hell, I can hardly stand fishing with myself half the time.
