I'm probably guilty of hot spotting or giving out to much information, Most times its just to share my excitement of having a fantastic day fishing. But if someone is fishing local waters I would rather them have a good trip of be successful and if i can Help by providing info on baits or locations I usually do so. That being said i don't give out information passed on to me by friends or other anglers as well as forum members that information is not mine to give.
I can see your point about pm's tho as there are a lot of people lurking that never contribute.
I would love to see some kind of limit at cj it would help the fishery
