Something that's makes launching easier with the wife is having a cheap pair of walkie-talkies to be able to communicate with her once she is behind the wheel and your in the boat. Then no yelling, looking in the mirror, and unable to hear her. An added plus is she can ask you anything once she drives up to the parking lots and has last minute questions - which always seem to come up. It's a great tool for the launch.

With Memorial Day Weekend just ahead - it will be the first ime on the water for 80%(+) of the water-players - I usually stay off the water to miss all the fun....
