I haven't fly fished the local rivers in a while, so I'm not up to date on the current regs.

Your best bets in the Boise area would be the South Fork of the Boise River (if it is opened) and the Owyhee River (located in Oregon, and also, if it is opened). Or, you could fish the main fork of the Boise. I hear some folks do very well right in town. There are others, but the ones mentioned would probably be considered the best by most folks.
