People are flipping out it's nice to see the passion and engauged reguardless of the view. Do I have to explain? No but I will. Am I a military transplant? Hell yes and I've been lucky enough to be stationed world wide at some of earths greatest outdoor destinations. Also EVERYWHERE I GO I volunteer, and take care of the land and water as best I can as well as try and leave the place in better shape then when I got there.
1st - For years in AK I would guide people and show them how things worked, I'd regularly post fish pics and reports and then one day went to a favorite fishery and it was destroyed with litter no fish and just overall proorly taken care of......and it was a dirrect result of my big mouth!
2nd - As per local or non locals, I should have worded those with etiquette and those without. Doesn't matter where you may be from Etiquette is Key and there are lots of individuals that lack it. Locals or REGULARS (people that fish a body of water 3 days a week typically) Seem to have their [url "mailto:S*@T"]S*@T[/url] together.
3rd - 1As invest the local area, for hunting and fishing and that is a truth...example pheasant hunting WMA I leave my house @ 800 am get there by 830 then 2-4 1A license plates show up and they literally try and muscle me out of my own back yard. This doesnt happen once or twice it happens alot, the pisser is that 1A has one of the largest WMAs in the state and it is stocked heavily with birds, but they come here for the same reasons that I have stated previously....ironic.
