Got on the water at 9:30 the water temp was in the mid 50's Scooted down to Goose Island to check out some spots from the past. Lot shallower than I exspected I marked around 15' as I went from side to side. Marked fish but no one would play. Saw 2 bank fishermen catch fish looked like a trout and the other a small bass.
Headed backtowards Norton. Got 4 hits on the fly and 1 fished hooked up one a jig and worm, but quick released me at the back of the boat.
Lots of boats there and a number of people camping.
Talked with 2 guys that had a mixed stringer of walleye and trout all looking to be around 12-14". They were trolling not sure with what.
Boy it was great to get out again! It's been a month.[fishin]
