My brother and his son were fishing at Tripod one time and we had been watching a bald eagle fly over the lake pretty much all day. It disappeared for awhile and we wondered where it went. My nephew was reeling in a trout and the eagle came out of nowhere and stole the fish. The fly he was using got hooked into the eagles leg and busted off the line. Craziest thing I ever saw.
