We fished Chesterfield last Thursday and the only guys that were catching anything were the bank fisherman and the guys drowning worms, marshmallows, power bait. The guys that were doing the best were the ones using colored marshmallows. They had ones that were pink and white, orange and white, and yellow and green. We trolled for hours with no success but when we anchored up and pulled out the garden tackle is when we caught fish. Fish and game told me in the winter to hit the back side of the lake where there was less pressure so I tried there. It's about 10 feet deep and he was right, that's where we got into them. With a warm week finally that we are having, I wouldn't discount dragging some lure around if you have a boat. Last week on my fishfinder the fish weren't even separated from the bottom, I saw maybe a half dozen fish suspended in the water column, the rest were tight on the bottom. Give us some warm weather and those fish will release and start coming up and hitting on the troll. Hope that helps.
Happy fishing.
