Rubber bands on down riggers?

Whatever works for ya man....I just more or less feel bad for some folks...they seem to lose a lot of fish consistently...but more so...people need to realize that kokes are extremely soft mouthed...and what concerns me the most is wondering how many of these fish that came off...are swimming around with their face torn to shreds...hopefully they've read these posts and change their strategy to prevent lost fish and wounded ones at that...
