Nice report, and a huge High Five for picking up some of the junk. As you mentioned it is even more important to police places like Weston, or the owners will block access. That is pretty much what happened with Twin Lakes. At least they didn't shut it down. Instead they hired a company to care for it. Now you have to pay to camp or park there.

I brought home a half a tire and a bunch of beer cans from a creek yesterday. Amazing what will "get away" from people when they are out enjoying a place that was nice...... before they got there.
