For the last 10 years only triploid fish have been stocked. 2007 is the last time a non-Kamloop triploid rainbow was stocked. Everything since 2007 has been the Kamloop strain of rainbow.
There are a few browns and cutts that show up now and then. I believe there are probably a few naturally producing rainbows around too, but not many.
The stocked Kamloops grow quickly in Chesterfield as it is a shallow smorgasbord of bugs.
