Fished Oxbow today started out right below Brownlee Dam. The water temp was 48 and there were lots of baby crappie floating. no takers on what I was offering. I think too cold of water and too much food for the Bass and crappie. We ran down to Oxbow dam, most of the res. was 49 degrees with a top of 53 near Oxbow Dam. but still no Bass or crappie.
My big thrill was the 10+ pound Carp I snagged in the tail with my crappie pole. and the 30 min. fighting it, to see what it was pulling that hard. Oh well it was fun.
It was a sure a nice boat ride.[bobhappy]
