I usually use smaller, 4" stick baits in ponds. Watermelon magic is a good choice. Green pumpkin or a baby bass laminate would work well too I think. Also try a small, soft plastic jerkbait like a Superfluke Jr in those same colors.
A smaller 1/4-3/8oz lipless crank like a Lucky Craft LVR Mini or LV100 are really good in the small reservoirs near Preston where I fish. They're pretty much ponds. Also smaller double willow spinnerbaits can be good when it's windy.
It's spendy, but Megabass just released a smaller version of their Vision 110, the best jerkbait ever created. I haven't fished it yet, but I'd bet it would work well.
