Best advice I can give you is go to sportsmans pickup a dozen size 16/18 renegades, get on I 15 headed north, get off at sage junction, head west, after Terreton watch for the turn off to salmon , go 30 miles, cross birch creek the 2nd time, pull off into the Kaufman camp ground and tie up and start chucking. Lots of eager fish and you can practice wadding, mending, casting all day long. If you screw up a hole it's 20 or 30 feet to the next one. Every person I've ever started fly fishing that's where I took them.
