I fished a portion of the Snake over by Shelly. One of the diversion dams. I was fly fishing a Chironomid under an indicator. I hooked what I thought a snag, and when I started to pull a little harder it started moving. Got it to the surface enough to notice the back. A bronze back. Landed it and it was a nice 19" smallmouth. I was told Idaho is putting bass in the snake. But this was a nice surprise.
