Good to know about the bass that's my favorite species.
We ended up fishing the South and North Fork. South had so much free floating moss/green weedy crap that you literally couldn't get a cast in the water for more than 2 seconds without it being smothered with that stuff. So we went to North Fork. Much better no moss and the browns were willing to eat our offerings . I caught a few in the hour we were there and my buddy caught 4. Curlys lures and a curly tail grub were the ticket, no particular color. Thanks guys for your input, great to have such good resources !
