The bass are in the Snake, someone on here said some have been caught clear up to St Anthony, I think. The pond is a gravel pit that the river flooded into, so it is calmer than the river but the water constantly- flows in and out. We took a little aluminum boat in it once and threw lures into the willows and caught a bass that broke off on me, and caught a couple where the pond and river connect.
