You can also fish the Shelley Pond, it's right next to the river, between Shelley and the south I-15 onramp. You can park and walk between the pond and the river, down to the end where the water flows in. Makes a good little place to get them next to the river flows. We've hooked some nice bass, and found quite a few lures when the water went down a few years ago.
