You need a soft pole with mono, make long casts and reel down fast to get it to dive, then stop. When you can't hardly stand it, wait another minute, reel slow till you feel a wiggle, then jerk, then wait somemore. The jerk you want makes the bait flip around and face the predator in the face. Big bass can't hardly stand it and whack it hard, don't set to fast, usually they kill it then grab it. My biggest LMB out of Owhyee came on Aurora Black 90. 61/2 lbr. Caught several 15lb + bags of smallies at Brownlee too. Have a tourny this weekend at Brownlee and I'm nervous as a whore in church with anticipation. Tight lines. . . . Dale

PS: Staysees and spooks I always fish on Ugly Sticks with mono. The baits cost more than the whole rod/reel combo. lol Something bout the stretch.
