Switching to bass.

My steelhead season is done. so im going to start targeting smallies on the snake. i knew there was a ton of chinook smolt headed down the river right now and i talked to a guy that said he caught one on a white crankbait that started spewing dead smolt all over the place once he landed the fish. so i ran to sportsmans warehouse and picked up some white flukes (soft jerk bait.) and headed down to the river. well it was the meal ticket. i picked up 4 fish in about an hour and missed several others. i was fishing them on a weighted swim bait hook 3/0. got them down to the bottom and worked them slow with a couple jerks and long pauses. first smaallies of the season for me. only took a picture of one. they were all around the same size. pic bellow.

by the way im seriously thinking about buying a bass boat ive been wanting to get more serious about bass fishing for a long time now. ive always enjoyed fishing plactics for both large mouth and small mouth. so if anybody knows of any good deals on a boat let me know.
