Bad day @ Blackrock - I was due- some laughs?

I hate when stuff like that happens. When I went out on Friday, I noticed my fish finder batteries were dead. I planned on stopping in Preston for a soda, so I was going to pick some up then. Got up to the lake, and realized I'd forgotten to buy them. I drove back to town to buy some, then back to the lake, only to discover that I'd left the float tube fish finder holder at home. After some scrounging through my trunk I realized I could fashion something out of one of the back packing straps on the tube that would hold the fish finder. After all that though, I was still a bit early for the bass and only landed three planters for the afternoon. Oh well, it's supposed to warm up next week and then hopefully things will get moving.
