The bottom line, imo, is the State of Utah need to nip this in the bud before it happens again, by telling Chevron they have a choice, either replace that pipeline or get a fine so big that it would be cheaper to replace the pipe. That is all big companies like Chevron understand, the bottom line. It is far cheaper for them to pay for this clean up and the two before than replace the pipeline but it has got to be done sooner or later. Chevron needs to step up and if nothing else, do one section at a time. It would be do able at that rate but I bet it won't happen until another leak happens[unimpressed].
