Gate work at gem lake

My buddy is one of the head guys that works on the turbines. Last week they worked on one of the gates and ended up opening it up for an hour. After they shut it he went and looked in the pools below. He said one hole had ten rainbows in it, the two that he caught and turned back loose into the pond were both over ten pounds, the one he figured was knocking close to twelve. He said they were going to be working on those gates all week. That usually stirs those fish up. If someones looking for a possible hot spot that might be the place.
