Took the grandkids down below the dam Saturday morning to check it out. Threw out a few morts, lost some gear and saw a real nice (8+) fish caught from a boat. You can bet your booties I'll be heading back real soon with Gertrude. I had forgotten how hard it is to fish from the bank, seemed we were on the wrong side of the river. I can see why the Boise guys are pretty tight lipped about the place.
I could not believe the amount of trash laying around, come on folks this belongs to all of us, no wonder access gets limited or denied. I'm a recovering alcoholic and was hauling around beer cans and empty whiskey bottles. Tight lines. . . . Dale
