Either you work for the DWR or you are in their back pocket. I knew you would contradict anything that was said. I have several points of view on Willard, I did not like that the inlet was opened up to fishing during the walleye spawn after 30 plus years to give some fisherman a better chance at catching or snagging fish. You have hundreds of fish bottlenecked at the base of the baffles, not much thrill in catching fish like that, of course maybe you along with alot of others enjoy catching fish that way. I have fished the Bay since 1976 and have seen it go thru many cycles good and bad and the walleye seem to make it thru OK despite what the DWR does or doesn't do for them. I would like to see all walleye lakes in this state closed during the spawning season but I know that will not happen. I'm sure you will have a comment on this as well.
