Inlet Update

We along with other half-a-dozen other anglers who were interested in a particular 2012 survey question showed up at the open house held at Angler's Den in Roy. I believe it was in the June time frame.

Anyhoo we discussed our concerns with Mr. Penne on a survey question and potential rule change. Including the DNR had a sign posted on possible rule changes and I don't recall seeing anything on Willard again this was almost a year ago. Additionally during our discussion with Mr. Penne an angler brought up Willard and the only discussion point made was on the Wiper harvest limit. Another angler even showed pictures from his cell phone of Willard Walleye he had caught again no mention at all during this open house (while we were there) on anything about opening up the inlet.

We were at this open house for approximately 1.5 hours discussing and listening to Mr. Penne and other officials and nothing was mentioned about the inlet. We didn't stay until the end of the open house so maybe it was discussed after we left...but nothing was mentioned 'tat' all while we were there again as I recall. [][]
