In the end, the more walleye anglers the better.
If more people have a chance to go down there and catch some fish (fairly easily) this time of year... and get hooked on walleyes... that is good for everyone.
We need more fisherman and advocates for our sport. Catch and release is becoming more and more popular. Maybe some of the people doing so well down there will turn some lose and practice selective harvest.
Either way, those fish won't be stacked in there for long. Willard seems to have a good crop of eyes right now too, I doubt angler harvest will impact things much.
