Just returned from up there myself. Went 2/3 yesterday in the Stites area and nada today. Fish were hooked on egg and puff ball combo. Drove up to Dewey/mount Idaho on the way home. Fish are defineatly there. And yeah, that river attracts a "special" breed of redneck.
