Three buddies and myself are planning on coming up there, and fishing Friday and Saturday, the 21 and 22nd. My only concern is if it is too late in the month. We are actually staying at the South Fork Lodge, and I have been spinning up egg patterns like crazy, but you are saying big and black too? Are we too late in the year? Any info will be great, we will mostly be nymphing on some big ol' two handers.
Anyway, I just signed up for this forum, to ask this question so any help would be awesome.
