BPS never has anything that just came out. You are always better off going elsewhere if you want something very new.
Sportsman Warehouse up in the NW end of town had quite a few last week. Not all the colors but a decent selection.
It is a pretty darn big azz crank. 2oz to boot. Most people are using heavy flipping/swimbait rods to cast/work them (from what I have read from a ton of forums). Not equipment that most around here would have in their boat/arsenal. Including me. No way am I buying a rod/reel specific to one bait. Same reason I don't cast umbrella rigs. You really need a very specific rod/reel/line to properly work that sucker. I am able to cast and run the 10XD on my current deep diver rod fairly effectively. Maybe not the optimal set-up for that specific bait but works well enough for me and the amount of time I will be using that bait. My St Croix Bass Legend 7'8" MH Mod rod along with a ABU Revo Toro Winch reel does a pretty good job of it with 15lb Fluorocarbon.
For the most part there is no way I would be messing with this crank from shore. IMO boat use only. You are just going to get hung up bringing it in once you get closer to shore. Heck I don't think I would even be messing with the 6XD from shore. Tough fishing...
10XD - 6XD
10XD, 6XD, 5XD and 3XD.
