My son and I made our first trip down to Starvation last Thurs. Eve. fished about 6 or 7 hrs. Friday at Juniper all around Sand Point and numerous holes back to where we parked, no luck. We were after perch so didn't target the trout, we hit Cowens for some lunch and headed down to the State Park and walked across to the far side fishing around the point from 10 feet of water to 60 feet and still didn't mark or catch any perch. Hit the lake again early the next morning this time we fished Knighten from 15 feet to 40 and only scored on a couple perch. I kind of thought the perch might be starting to spawn so that's why we tried some shallow water but we just couldn't locate any, you could catch trout in the shallower depths as we stopped and talked to a gentlemen who was fishing in about 17 feet of water and watched him pick up several nice rainbows. He was interested in the BFT site so I hope he joins the BFT bunch. He was a real nice guy, of course being from Wis. he would have to be[
