I have heard there are some big bows and browns in the spokane river. Right now Latah Creek formerly known as hangman creek is flowing high and dirty so I would recomend fishing above it. Probably between there and the falls. Could also be good above the falls toward the dam at the end of the lake. I have always had a curriosity as to weather some giant trout I saw living in river front park might go gangbusters on some kind of bread fly... Or just a hunk of bread on a hook. I know people throw a lot of stuff to the ducks there and that I once saw large trout holding there. The spokane river has some problems like oxygen depletion from the sewege treatment plants putting to much nitrogen in the water but if you can find somewhere with oxygenated waters (near or in riffles) that looks fishy then you ought to produce. Water is cold would bet bait centered tactics are best right now
