Hey there SturgeonKid, in addition to what catman said it is important to remove some of the protective lining on the inside of the waders before applying the patch. If the leak appears to be somewhere along the seams, then you will need to consult TubeDude. He has some good stuff for the seams.
If infact that you are in need of some new waders, there is a chain retailer in SoCal that has the Sterns 3.5 neoprenes for $40 bucks. The stores name is Sport Chalet. I just bought some for my son and a new pair for myself at the price that you can usually expect to pay for 1. Good luck there buddy.
