I also agree with that, my point is mainly from a genetics stand point but from the sounds of it, from some reading that it doesn't matter if there is good genetics going on, and yes Neil that is why I suggest a slot limit is too keep from taking too many large fish preying on the smaller fish, also it would increase the number of smaller ones that people would take home, it seems like they would take home 30 9"-12" fish compared too 8-10, 12"+ fish that would reduce the population 2 ways, have bigger fish eating smaller and general public taking home more of the smaller fish.... that is kinda the way i'm looking at it, it seems too me a ton of little fish eat just as much as half the big one's....
