Hint: Use a jig like one of TD's glow wobblers as your drop-shot weight. And tie in the ice fly in true drop-shot fashion with a palomar knot - no dropper. Tip both jig and fly.
A dropper masks the perch's very subtle bite, and having a jig as well as a fly doubles your attraction and bite potential. You might even tie in two flies now that three lures are allowed. The jig should be the heaviest lure, with the other(s) progressively smaller/lighter.
