Show me one comment I've made on this thread that makes me "seem to be hoping that it will go back to the way that the landowners have been assuming that it has been for years." There isn't one. I think I've been pretty open to different perspectives and ideas, hell I asked for them. When a guy like me who's on the other side of the argument, leaning over to your side, calmly and respectfully asking questions to educate himself, don't you think that acting decent and maybe not being a poop head would be more effective than popping off with your assumptions of me and what I hope, think and feel. You wonder why the landowners don't want to budge, it's mostly because of people like you who instead of trying persuasion, try cramming it down our throats. And yes before you re post the utah supreme court decision, I get it, the landowners have been cramming their law down the publics throats for years, public access to rivers are federally protected rights, got it. The law that you had to have permission to fish the rivers by private land has been around since probably before I was born so it's all I know so please excuse me for having had a different opinion and also for trying to be more objective. Despite your comments, and thanks to the informative ones from the others I have a new opinion on this subject and I thank all the rest of you for your input.
