I got the pink one, I am going to drop it down a hole for a laker, I was wondering how you thought it shold be worked (presented) all the way on the bottom of the lake or are you fishing a river where there is a current that will keep the tail out?
my thought was to eather put a porky or a dead minnow tail on the hook and jig just on the bottom of the lake.
I have to admit I have never targeted lakers befor, I do plan to spend at least 4 hours a day trying to latch in to one.
I would emagin you would hook in to a few pike when targeting musky, I am after a mallard eating gar. I watched him take down several mallards this year, I thought it was a turtle till one day when retreiving a 12 inch bass that gar decided to think of my bas as a snack..... killed the bass, it leaft two gashes inch and a half apart about two inches long and half inch deap on the side of the bass. not to mention it just about yerked the rod out of my hand.....
the monster has to leave before it decides one of the naighbors little kids are just big shimp..... them splashing fingers and toes gotta look tempting to him......
