Get legal if you do plan to carry. That warden checking your license has full arrest powers. And DO tell him you're packing, first thing. That identifies you as a good guy/gal more than anything else. After that, do EXACTLY what he says.

You don't need a CCW license to carry outside city limits, doing "outdoor activities", such as hunting / fishing.
