That's the plan. That's why they're in Johnson Reservoir. That's why they're in Pineview Reservoir. Only a couple of problems though. First is getting Tiger Muskies. All of the places that used to supply Utah with Tiger Muskies have issues with Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia, or VHS. We don't need VHS in ANY of our waterways, so the DWR is trying to produce their own Tiger Muskies. That is proving to be an arduous task. Lots of time, money, effort, and set backs.
Second problem is evident at Pinveview and Johnson. Even though the Tigers are there, the perch are still able to produce enough offspring to stunt. People are still catching limits of perch and few if any jumbos.
