CJ Strike, Crappie, 12 inches, White vertical jig tipped with perch eyeball.
I really like this contest. It has made me a much more versatile fisherman. Prior to my first entry into this contest, I only caught 3 or 4 species through the ice in a single season. Now I've had 6, 7, and 7 in consecutive years. I'm not trying to brag. Really I'm just expressing my gratitude for the way this contest has stretched me. This is my first crappie through the ice. Hopefully it won't be my last.
