Bear Lake?

Local News 8 had a story about a guy who broke through the ice at Bear while ice fishing on his 4 wheeler. Sounds like he made it out alright and had to spend a night in the hospital. So has anybody been ice fishing down there, and if so how is the fishing? I know it doesn't always freeze up and it might be fun to give it a try (once the ice gets a little thicker tho).
